Monday, March 6, 2006; 5:27 PMA federal prosecutor began laying out the case for a death sentence against Zacarias Moussaoui today, telling a newly seated jury that the mercurial al-Qaeda follower was part of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist conspiracy and that he lied to federal agents so that the plot could go forward.
