Hilltop Times – Concert to air in December:

All Department of Defense workers, including the military, civilian and contractors on Hill AFB and those stationed at other Utah military installations, along with their families, are invited to attend a free concert Aug. 19 “A Salute to the Armed Forces”.

The patriotic and holiday musical salute will feature a variety of music and national-level entertainers and will be recorded for future broadcast in December to Armed Forces Radio and Television System audiences around the world.

The concert will feature the 352-voice Mormon Tabernacle Choir and 110-member Orchestra at Temple Square. The USAF Band of the Reserve, based at Robins AFB, Ga., will be a featured performer during the two-hour concert. …[Read more]
