First Amendment Freedoms vs. The Simpsons

Depressing! When American’s are more familiar with the names of the Simpson characters vs. the freedoms in the Constitution, it makes my heart sink.

Reminder:

  • Free of religion
  • Freedom of speech
  • Freedom of press
  • Freedom of assembly
  • Freedom to petition

CHICAGO (Reuters) – Most Americans have an easier time naming members of the cartoon Simpson family than listing the five freedoms granted by the nation’s founders, a survey by a museum released on Wednesday said.
