  1. Hence the foolishness of Israel and the United States using war to get political points. In this case, Hezbollah wins. If peace were used, then we’d have won.

  2. Israel did not go to war over political points. It was in self-defense.

  3. I am confident Israel did not act without first consulting with the White House. Bush made a political decision, realizing it would increase his numbers as most Americans support Israel defending herself. Israel did not go to war for political points, but Bush certainly supported Israel for political points. There is no doubt of this.
